I have a large number of antique watches to list from a deceased watchmakers estate.

All of these watches will require attention of some sort; they will not be in perfect working order. Some may run and simply need a routine clean but many will need some form of repairs. Please take the time to view all of the images and ask for additional ones if needed; the photographs are an integral part of the description. I am not a watchmaker but will do my best to give a reasonable visual description of any obvious issues. Please, if you do not know what you are buying DO NOT BID. Very slim Antique cylinder Pocket Watch movement for repairs c.1820

The dial and hands alone are worth the opening bid. Another potentially useful movement either in full or as a parts source.

Dial: Mint white enamel with very fine black Roman numerals and original gold Breguet moon pattern hands. The minute hand has lifted slightly towards the end.

Movement: Super slim early continental cylinder escapement; probably Swiss but possibly French. Mercurial gilt 6-bar configuration with bright steel click to the barrel and uncut annular balance. The balance staff will need attention as the balance is visibly off centre.

Size: approx 32.5mm in diameter across the dial and just 3.5mm thick.
