Robert Graves was a poet, novelist and classicist. All of his work has been incredibly well received, with his essay The White Godess that explores the poetic myth, having never been out of print.
Acting as a appendix rather than a progressive sequel to the authors autobiography, this work again delves further into the life of the author and tells some stories unseen in his memoir Good-bye To All That.
With the ink inscription to the front endpaper that reads, G. R. H. W. From E. S. Xmas 1930.
CONDITION
In a full cloth binding, and held in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally very smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine, and to the extremities. Ink inscription to the front endpaper. Dustwrapper is rubbed. Heavy rubbing to the spine, lighter to the extremities. Light chipping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Light offsetting internal to the wrap. Tape repairs internally to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are clean with light patches of spotting.
